Brenda Loringer

Brenda Loringer is the Owner of EduPlanners and lead educational consultant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Psychology from Lipscomb University and has worked in mental and behavioral healthcare since 1988. Drawing from her own experiences as an “out of the box” learner, Brenda brings empathy and insight when guiding families through educational and therapeutic options.

After early work in behavioral health and substance abuse treatment, she became a Certified Addiction Specialist and trained in Family Intervention before discovering her passion for educational consulting in 2004. In 2015, she took ownership of EduPlanners and now travels nationwide to evaluate schools and programs, ensuring families have access to the best resources for their children.

Brenda and her husband live in Nashville with their three dogs.

Cole Szabo

Cole Szabo, LADAC II is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor with extensive experience in behavioral health and substance use treatment. In long-term recovery himself, he brings a unique blend of personal insight and professional expertise to his work with adolescents, young adults, and their families.

Cole earned his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Lipscomb University and began his career at a nationally recognized treatment center in Nashville, where he served as Director of Admissions and Outreach for adolescent and young adult programs. Since obtaining his LADAC II license in 2019, he has focused on helping youth and families navigate the challenges of substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.

His counseling style is warm and person-centered, paired with a directive, solution-focused approach that encourages trust, engagement, and lasting progress. Beyond clinical work, Cole has led business development teams at leading treatment centers, giving him a broad perspective on the treatment industry and the evolving needs of the families it serves.

Outside of work, Cole enjoys time with his family, playing recreational sports, and continually honing his skills as both a counselor and family advocate.
